I didn’t have any game console in my childhood because my parents didn’t want me to get addicted to the TV games. So I didn’t have any Gameboy, Super Nintendo nor Playstation. My first game console was NeoGeo Pocket, which I bought it using my saving of pocket money. The next one was PSP already. :’(
A friend of mine told me there is a Retro Game Expo this weekend. I was excited and I decided to have a visit there and see if I could recall the memory of my childhood.
父母怕我沉迷打機而荒廢學業，所以小時候的我家中沒有電子遊戲機。人生中的第一部遊戲機是自己用儲下來的零用錢買的NeoGeo Pocket，之後已經是PSP了。什麼Game Boy 超任 Playstation 的通通都沒有。只能羨慕其他有遊戲機的同學。 :’(
早幾天有朋友通知有一個關於遊戲機的展覽於今個周末舉行。於是今天便去看一下能否重捨兒時回憶。
Be honest, I was surprised by the variety of the consoles displayed in this expo! There are about 20 consoles from different vendors. Despite the famous ones such as Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft and NeoGeo, NEC and Panasonic have also had their own game console! Check the photos below and see if you can find your consoles!
這裡展出的機種數目比我想像的實在多太多，大概差不多二十款。原來不少廠商都曾經推出過自家的家用遊戲機。除了為人所知的Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Microsoft, NeoGeo 外，連 NEC 及 Panasonic 都有。很多都是從未聽聞過的機種，看看你又能否找到你兒時玩伴？
Besides just showing the consoles, we can also play it! There is a experience area, with many classic games that we all have played before! The most popular one probably is the Street Fighter series, because there is always a long queue of New Challengers!
除了展出不同的機種外，場館還設有體驗區！設有多款經典遊戲供遊客試玩。當中最受歡迎的應該就是 Street Fighter 系列了。不同年代的版本都圍了一堆人排隊「挑機」！
