Tibet is an amazing place in China . While the main attraction is the Potala Palace in Lhasa, there are many other popular tourist destinations including the Jokhang Temple, Namtso Lake, and Tashilhunpo Monastery.
My wife and I traveled in Lhasa, Shigatse, Nyingzhi and Nam Lake during August 8th-20th 2017. We went there by train from Guangzhou, it took about 54 hours, which is really a long but interesting trip.
