The heat is immense but not unbearable, the air itself a simmering sauna. Relief comes often, but not fast enough as I break a sweat even on the shortest of walks.
People pass on bikes, foot and electric marvels that gave rise to the ultimate convenience, 外卖！Yet, the people are out. The leafy streets of the french concessions are lined with cafes, boutique shops and bars. The old man strolls, the young couples glide.
