I was able to pick up from my favourite roaster right on Christmas Eve and have been enjoying this coffee since.
It is an excellent dark roast that was well worth the cost. The bag weighs about 434 grams and was $8.95 in the store. So far I have made 2 full pots. One for Christmas day and one for today's breakfast.
I do like that they list on the bag who farmed it, where it came from and the altitude grown.
The beans had a nice even roast to them with an oiled sheen when opening the bag. And the smell of the coffee itself on opening was just what I was looking for.
Grinding, I am still using my blade grinder and got it done on a few pulses to the grade I was looking for. On brewing, I used our Ninja coffee bar with the mesh filter and a paper liner.
I will drink my coffee black, but this time I just added a bit of 2% milk.
I was quite happy with this one and will be looking to get another bag once it is complete.
