1949 Roosevelt Dime (US)

This is a 1949 Roosevelt Dime. This design was started in 1946 and continues through today. Although it looks just like the dimes in your pocket, this one is 90% silver, as are all dimes minted through 1964.

Design is by John R. Sinnock and features the portrait of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

While not considered rare, it is still a nice piece from 69 years ago.
