Steem Exclusive Digest (10 Nov - 23 Nov 2018)
Welcome to CoinGecko’s second fortnightly digest! We will recap what has happened over the past 14 days.
We at CoinGecko are always hard at work to make your experience on CoinGecko better. Being one of the leading cryptocurrency data aggregators, we uphold transparency strongly and that includes updating the community on what we have been doing behind the scenes. It is with the hope that this fortnightly digest can keep all of you updated on our journey.

First, a word from CoinGecko
The market slump has been a subject of great fear and disappointment within the whole cryptocurrency community. In mere weeks, a whole $70 Billion Dollar was wiped out from existence. Some claim to know the people responsible for what’s happened, some rationalized the factor that gave rise to the fall.
We, however, can confidently assure you that this is the ebb and flow of the cryptocurrency market. In fact, while many naysayers have said yet again that “Bitcoin is dead”, the market price has only fallen back to its pre-bull-run price little over a year ago.
The Bitcoin Cash hard fork is also a hot topic over the fortnight. For us over at CoinGecko, what happened was the proof of decentralization in action. At this juncture, Coingecko recognizes BCHABC as Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin SV will be listed as a separate altcoin.

Coins
We added a total 203 coins over the past 14 days. Some of the more notable ones are:
RBTC - RSK (Rootstock) is the first open-source smart contract platform with a 2-way peg to Bitcoin that also rewards the Bitcoin miners via merge-mining, allowing them to actively participate in the Smart Contract revolution.
Bitcoin SV - Bitcoin Cash SV (Satoshi’s Vision) the altcoin forked from Bitcoin Cash that maintains the vision of Bitcoin set out by Satoshi Nakamoto’s white paper in 2008: Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System. BCHABC will be listed at BCH
STACS Token - Securities Trading Asset Classification Settlement (STACS) Protocol aims to create a unique public/permissioned hybrid global blockchain that will support the issuance, trading, clearing and settling of digital securities.
Quadrant Protocol - Quadrant is a blockchain-based protocol that enables the access, creation, and distribution of data products and services with authenticity and provenance at its core.
