Since getting lucky and early into crypto I have been given the advantage to begin diversifying my stash into physical metals.
Today I want to show case the THOR Silver 1oz. coin minted by one of the top minters in the world Perth Mint.
It's denomination is valued at $1 TV = 1 Tuvalu Dollar. Which of course no one would actually use it for face value as of writing this is $16.76 USD.
Other technical details:
Purity 9999
Diameter (mm) 40.60
Thickness (mm) 2.98
Year 2018
Designer Ian Rank Broadley
Mintage 50,000
It's a cool looking coin and some say it's gimmicky due to it being MARVEL, but when I see that I honestly think, why not take advantage of fan boys and buy some of these. Not only do I believe the value of silver will rise in the future but so will this coin because of it's association to one of the main hot hunks in the MARVEL universe. hahahaha Some believe that 50,000 is a high mintage for a coin, but it isn't an unlimited mintage coin, therefore I have picked up a few and will continue to stack some more along with the other coins in the MARVEL series in order (Spiderman, Thor, Black Panther, and Iron Man)
I picked this up at kpmex.co.kr (http://kpmex.co.kr/shop/main/index.php) since I live in Korea, and the premium is a little high (30,700KRW each) but you can also visit your local coin shop or other online deals such as:
JM Bullion: https://www.jmbullion.com/2018-1-oz-tuvalu-thor-marvel-series-silver-coin/ (ACCEPTS BTC! :D)
APMEX: https://www.apmex.com/product/155380/2018-tuvalu-1-oz-silver-1-marvel-series-thor-bu (ACCEPTS BTC and BCH)
Thanks for reading and let me know what you're stacking! Crypto's, Precious Metals, or what you're not and why!
