I started my journey out of high school, optimistic full of energy getting into the work force and felt "safe", thinking that the school had prepared me for what was to become one of the toughest journeys i had to endure. Adulthood. Didnt think adulthood was a piece of cake anyways but had no idea of what that even meant. How to balance a check book. What to do when you get into a car accident. How a speeding ticket affects your insurance (and potentially getting into certain law enforcement jobs). How to build credit. How to understand interest rates. How to budget your daily spending habits. International travel. Visas. Etc. I notice how alot of young people in America as young as high schoolers want to take a stab at political arguements. We must ask ourselves, are we really ready? Are we prepared for anything?
