I wanted to paint something bright and juicy. Recently, an International Women's Day was held in our country, so I had tulips at home. They wilted a bit by the time then I decided to paint them, but it did not stop me.
I draw with the markers Finecolour. I will use yellow, red and green tones. I draw on Canson marker paper. This is a special marker paper, which does not allow markers to spread and retain the shape of the object (flower).
I start to draw at once markers, from light to dark. I mark the tips of the petals with a yellow marker and the pink silhouette of the flower. Gradually I darken the flower, adding more and more red shades. When the main shape of the petals is drawn, I draw a foot near the flower and add shadows.
