ColorChallenge: ThursdayGreen - Banff & Jasper Plants

I've posted the waterfalls and mountains of Jasper and Banff, so I thought I'd also share photographs of the lovely plants along the way. And what better day to do that than #thursdaygreen for the #colorchallend by Hive account@kalemandra.

This was a beautiful patch of wildflowers we came across while hiking the Plain of Six Glaciers Trail at Lake Louise. The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and this area was really quite - it was lovely!

These plants grew abundantly on the mountains in Banff:

There was purslane everywhere on the climb up to Wilcox Pass between Banff & Jasper:
