We have less and less greenery with the coming autumn with all those rich greens turning into yellow'ish and brown'ish tones all around.
But in the forest, that maintains it's own ecosystem, with a bit higher temperatures from rotting foliage and enough humidity it remains fresh green longer.
I took this image while visiting my parents on a weekend and we went mushroom picking three days in a row, and this year has been extremely rich with mushroom harvest.
If you like mushrooms you can also see a few posts i did with all those awesome Amanitas and Boletus:

๐ท๐Autumn. Mushrooming. #2 - Boletus.๐๐ท
๐ท๐Autumn. Mushrooming. #3 - Unknown varieties.๐๐ท
๐ท๐Autumn. Mushrooming. #4 - Unknown varieties.๐๐ท
who is an educated biologist even provided names for the most of the mushrooms i have picked, indicating which ones are edible and which ones a better left for viewing purposes only. So if you are into mushroom picking you might also learn a thing or two :)
