Meet Laura - Aerial performer, aspiring model brave enough to volunteer early last year at my first attempt at underwater UV photography. I tried using regular UV body paints in an airbrush and stencil which proved to be far from waterproof or water resistant and paved way for me searching online for waterproof body paints in both regular and UV. Its something not easy to to find or source locally in Sydney nor cheap but I did manage to for future shoots.
I bought fluro fabric from the local Spotlight and cut one side into strips to play with flow. The fluro Orange fabrics we cut and tied to make a glowing outfit. The wig I sourced from a local bargain store which I thought was fluro orange but turned out it didn't glow at all.
Either way we still got creative and turned out some gems in this shoot.
The lighting is via 2 x 2 100w Blue LED floods that have been custom modified for my UV project.
Always love a good challenge outside the box as it helps improve technically and adaptively for various situations.
Let me know what you think.

Underwater model shoots is a self funded personal creative art project I do for the sake of creating art and also challenging myself technically to improve as a photographer. Aside from being extremely challenging in all aspects its also one of the most expensive and high risk due to cost of equipment, chance of equipment damage that insurers will not cover, safety for myself and the model/team. Always great to get some feedback, support or help finding sponsors/clients to keep these personal projects alive.
