For today's color challenge I picked his entry below:

Chania in Crete, Greece is a city with long history where visitors can see Venetian, Ottoman and Neoclassical structures standing, as a reminder of the numerous civilizations that has settled there in the past. No wonder why it is called Venice of the East! This is a shot of the Venetian port during the dusk! The perfect time for a walk from the waterfront restaurants to the Venetian lighthouse that looks like a minaret!
