I found this loader stuck in some wet mud in a field on the edge of town.
When I walked up to the loader to have a closer look, I was struck by the raw emotion that surrounded him. Suddenly I felt a strong sensation of loneliness as I gazed upon the dented, battered and rusted body in front of me.
I realized that this old loader had probably been through this type of terrain many times throughout his life, but that the sum of his experience was not enough to see him through one more time. Yet, despite his failure he was magnificent; a vivid testament to a life well lived. Rest in peace old friend.
