Hello fellow Steemians,
here my contribution to the colorchallenge Thursday: Green ! What you can see on this picture are magnified cells of a plant leaf (Arabidopsis thaliana, in this case) glowing in a bright green after UV-light excitation. The jigsaw-like parts are the cells, the roundish structures with holes in the middle are little openings (stomata) which the plant uses to breathe!
I see these kind of pictures a lot in my daily worklife and wanted to share natures hidden, eerie beauty! :)

hier mein Beitrag für die heutige colorchallenge Thursday: Green! Auf dem Bild könnt ihr vergrößerte Pflanzenzellen bewundern (in diesem Fall von Arabidopsis thaliana), die nach Bestrahlung mit UV-Licht grün leuchten! Die puzzleartigen Strukturen sind die Zellen der Pflanze, die runden Gebilde mit den Löchern in der Mitte sind Atmungsöffnungen der Pflanze (Stomata).
Solche Bilder bekomme ich oft innerhalb meiner beruflichen Tätigkeit zu sehen, und wollte diese versteckte, eigentümliche Schönheit der Natur mit euch teilen! :)
