Today I went out to take pictures of the sage plant (Salvia)
Sage (Salvia) is a genus of flowering plants in the mint family (Lamiaceae). It is distributed almost worldwide on all continents except Antarctica and Australia. There are about 850 to 900 species. Many species have been used since ancient times as medicinal plants, including important for cooking and medicine True sage (Salvia officinalis).
