Today I went out to take photos of the Hokkaido pumpkin (Cucurbita maxima 'Red Hokkaido).
Overall, there are around 800 different varieties of pumpkin. They like warm areas and can be seeded from May and harvested until the first frosts. Pumpkins contain about 90 percent water and are very popular because of the healthy ingredients.
