The Crayfish in our creek don't get huge like they do in the river but they are still surviving well. I love this shot as it appears the Crayfish is in mid Sun Salutation, on the inhale. Bright red claws raised to the sky, antenna back, eyes up, tail curled.
I like to leave the Crayfish to continue breeding so we don't eat any from our creek. It's too much fun to see them wandering around when we go to the "swimming hole" and now the boys will get to watch them.
