My deja vu today: Austria’s SME sector is booming: all indicators on current state of business, employment, investment etc. are at their height – according to the data of the most recent survey on Austria’s economy that we are currently analyzing. While translating the data into words I realized I was writing over and over again: “as good as it has last been in 2008”.
2008 – Wasn’t that a peculiar year?
What do you think: Is it as it seems? Or is something hiding behind the curtain? Should we be worried – even be taking precautions?

Mein Déjà-vu zum Zeitgeschehen heute: Im österreichischen Mittelstand läuft es derzeit rund: alle Eckdaten für Geschäftsentwicklung, Beschäftigung, Investitionen etc. zeigen nach oben. Das zeigen die neuesten Umfragewerte, die wir gerade auswerten. Beim Verfassen der Analysen fiel mir auf, wie ich immer wieder formulierte: „so gut wie seit 2008 nicht mehr.“
2008 – da war doch was?
Was denkt Ihr: Ist es wie es scheint? Oder versteckt sich auch in diesem Jahr wieder etwas hinter dem Busch? Müssen wir uns eventuell sogar Sorgen machen – und Vorkehrungen treffen?
