This coin depicts Anubis the Egyptian God. His job was to prepare bodies for the afterlife. The Egyptians observed jackals around cemetery's and believed they watched over the dead, hence his half human half animal appearance.
This piece is actually 2 oz's of silver underneath 24 karat yellow gold. It bears the initials of the legendary American designer/sculpter Heidi Wastweet..because I'm a boss 😎
This piece is #14 of only 40 made. My friend that owns a company that worked with Mrs. Wastweet told her I was a big fan of her art, and she sent me a personalized card.
