Frustration watching lovely tomatoes growing, dreaming of nothing nicer than freshly picked to eat out of the garden. When along come the monkeys and destroy the lot!
Why do they pick it then not eat it, just like humans buying things they do not need, which brings to mind, it is that time of year when suddenly everyone realizes they overspent during the festive season once again.
Over population of vervet monkeys in our area we can only blame humans encroaching into their feeding areas, with no natural enemies, they are breeding into massive troops, land is being constantly developed by humans needing more and more.
When will the cycle end? "Tit for Tat" we take their land where they normally feed, they will take whatever is available, should we not stop long enough to consider once land has been turned upside down it will never be the same tomorrow. Everything needs food to survive.
