This is a shot from my garden this summer. I can see some spittle bug signs, which is that frothy white substance that looks like spit that attacks the plant. Most plants seem to co exist with it while others make the plant stressed out. I typically take a garden hose and water the plants down, not in direct sunlight and eventually seems to eradicate them.
These plants are Nigella on the top aka Love In The Mist, then Oregano and some Mint on the bottom. I grow tons of Mint and Oregano. I like to dry Oregano, grind into a powder and put on popcorn with olive oil. One of my favorite toppings.
