A few forest flowers for today, they just keep growing :)
I like purple color, it has a calming effect on me, so I'm glad so many purple flowers keep popping up. Just right for today's #colorchallenge.
These are starting to bloom, though not in our garden yet. It's called Aquilegia from what I've found, or columbine, or granny's bonnet hehe. We call it "orlica", that would literally be a female eagle in translation :)
I don't know what these are called, though they are very common. They grow so many leaves and spread them out so that in places they cover the whole forest floor. It looks great, a green carpet with purple flowers here and there.
And this is common sage, or "kadulja" in our language. These are a bit old already, but here I've stumbled on a small area where they grow clumped together. It supposedly has great health benefits, it was used throughout history for medicinal purposes and it's used in cookery, as a herb and they distill oils out of it.
So many useful plants everywhere, with good knowledge one could make many remedies by himself.
Anyway, hope you like the photos, this is my entry for today's #colorchallenge.
Have a good start of the week.
