A place I always visit when in Reykjavík, Iceland is Reykjavíkurtjörnin (Reykjavík Lake), which is centrally located in the city's downtown. Here tourists and locals alike feed the many species of ducks, swans and geese who live in the lake. It's a lovely sight, day or night. For its calming effect (and inspiration to make plans to return as soon as possible) I sometimes watch the lake when I'm home in the US via the Live From Iceland 24-7 webcam.
I've got at least 100 photos of the birds Reykjavíkurtjörnin, and this one is one of my favorites.
