I painted these lovely pansies a few years ago and still enjoying them :)
Doing a watercolor on wood is harder then on paper.
You come across hard knots and lines.
I am not sure what they are called in English :)
In those spots the paint finds it hard to attach.

The wood also soaks in a lot of paint.
So you have to use many layers.
The end result looks so much different the painted on paper.
To me it has a nice touch to it :)
