We had actual rain this winter in California which has made for quite an amazing wildflower season. It seems they all have their cues, when one variety fades, another blooms in its stead. The blue eyed grass (sisyrinchium augustifolium) was particularly gorgeous.
I took this photo at Fort Ord National Monument...my home away from home...which is quite close to my actual home. :)
Enjoy!
