Summer is almost near, how nice would it be to spend your summer vacation on a beautiful and fascinating beach. Did you know that a water, specifically the blue reflection makes a great contribution to our lives?
Wallace J. Nichols, a marine biologist believes that when we are in or near the water, it triggers our "blue mind", it's a meditative state characterized by peacefulness, unity, calm and a sense of satisfaction and happiness. As he writes in Blue Mind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected and Better at What You Do, that we are beginning to learn that our brains are programmed to react positively to water. Being near to water could increase innovation and insight, calm us and even heal what's broken.
No wonder why I feel at peace, relax and happy whenever I see and hear a flowing water.
