This is my entry for the #colorchallenge, Orange Tuesday. Thank you once again for hosting.
I was headed to the local market a few days ago and while driving down the lane to the highway I noticed the willows along the way are starting to gain their spring colors. These trees are already starting to turn their winter brown branches into golden orange, bursting with new life. I've lived here for 11 years and I do believe this is the earliest spring I can remember. They said on the news, we haven't had weather like this since the late 1800's. I try to keep in mind, that there are a lot of cycles this earth has gone through that no one has ever recorded before. Doesn't mean it has never happened. I'm not going to flip out over global warming, but will try to be mindful and prepare for what lay ahead. Preparing gardens with plants that tolerate warmer temps, or colder, which ever way Mother Nature decides to swing.
