This flea market scene, however, was shot in Ampang, almost Kuala Lumpur (near the borderline) at a neighbourhood mall. I thought I would leave the scene as is, not even retouching the sticker-taped flooring, masking a tear in the carpet probably...
Shot post-Chinese New Year, you can still see a couple of Chinese lantern decorations put up, and of course a red carpet to usher in the auspicious occasion! I wished it was slightly bigger and I would have gone up to a higher floor to catch a more detached view...
