I love when people use functional things as decoration. It gives new life to something that may very well have ended up in the dumpster. These were probably never used for their original purpose and so probably don't fit that category, but I can use my imagination and pretend that perhaps these were held by someone under the Japanese sun.
Currently they have a life on the ceiling of a sushi joint, a very good one if I may say so.
The decor:authentic. The music? Well, let's just say bossanova goes well with raw fish.
