Many years ago I rented a home along a stream in the country. Thankfully this kitty and her sister kept my home free from rodents and they even ate the bugs who would find their way inside! When I saw my kitty sitting in the window, with the stream bed off in the distance, I just had to capture it. Then, rather unlike me, I decided to take it again in infrared mode.
I don't usually choose to alter my photos like this but there was something special about this one. It will always be one of my favorites especially since this sweet kitty went out for an adventure one day and never came home. She will always be remembered dearly...
As I gaze into the past,
The daze of purple haze comes back...
With trickling streamz and bubbling brooks,
I will always remember the beauty of this cozy nook
