Puerto Morelos, a peaceful village on the Mayan Riviera. It makes a perfect spot if you’re looking for someplace quieter than crazy busy area with many tourists.
Brilliantly contrasted stripes of bright green and dark blue water is a excellent for all divers and snorkelers.
There’s a nice market with a good selection of crafts and handmade hammocks. The village also offers many lovely restaurants and bars with mexican cuisine and seafood with tradicional caribbean atmosphere.
But the most popular site of the town is the iconic leaning lighthouse. It was built as a testament to the strongest hurricane of the 1967 Atlantic season, Hurricane Beulah, tracked directly through the beach town.
So if you are in Morelos be sure to get some photos with the popular landmark of this cute fishing village.
Stay awesome and Steem on!
