On some occasions i like to make landscape or seascape images. Did you know that the most intense colours happen by dawn and not by sunset?
This image was taken @ Ostend (Belgium) close by home. The exposure i used was 1/8st of a sec. This does give a nice dynamic image from the moving sea, this is something i prefer in images.
1/8st and 1/4st exposures are like key for many seascape images.
Off course you can use a stopper that blocks light like x10. then your exposure will be minutes resulting in some certain flat images with no layers/dynamic @ all. This can be beautiful, i see many using them in wrong conditions.
So i stood there on a jetty watching those clouds turning more colourful. Maybe i should take some images? So i made that composition with in the distance a large breaker with walkway. The tower on that breaker is the radar for shipping.
The scene itself is not quite spectacular as we don't have spectacular landscapes with rocks and stuff. :) Someone told me once our region is a pancake lookalike. The colours do make this image quite nice imo.
Thank you for reading/watching.
