This was one of the first things we did when we moved to Seattle. We landed in the middle of winter and experienced six weeks of miserable grey, wet drizzle. Then the sun started to come out.
The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is genuinely amazing. And if you get there before 11:00am, it's empty. A weird thing about a Sunday in Seattle - nobody seems to get up early. Either that or they're all at church!
