So people usually ask me for the drawing process on some posts. I never thought to snap pictures while still in the heat of a drawing 💣. So I set reminders to help remind me.
First I made a light sketch with a pencil, rough just to have an idea of where to place what and what, then I started using darker and confident lines with my pen to outline parts I will happy with.
With the outlines done, the shading begins, I first establish the darkest possible black and work my way to the lighter values.
This goes on for several minutes, I am paying attention to my light source (right) meaning things would averagely be lighter there and darker on the left. I am also focusing on the shapes, shapes that are supposed to be in from would cast a shadow on shapes behind.
Finally, I'm done. I add color to a few places I want to stand out.
NB: to get the effect in my Original post, I first reduced the saturatio, then increased the warmness of the photo.
