With ComicCon only a couple of days, we couldn't help but to go downtown yesterday for some sightseeing, lunch, cocktails and to see the progress of the sets being constructed for this event! How I love our city!

The Tick has almost a half block dedicated to it including this market that is still being put together.
Downtown is certainly busy and all that walking gave us an appetite so we had some lunch at our usual spot~ Provisional...

The masters of stop motion animation Laika Studios who brought to life Coraline, ParaNorman, Kubo and The Boxtrolls, were kind enough to extend us an invitation for a behind the scenes tour and gifted us with awesome exclusive goodie bags and posters! I'll be sharing the photographs I took of the original sets and puppets from the tour this evening in part 2 of this blog post!
