Sorry I’ve been MIA the past couple weeks. Been a nutty time lately and a ton of stuff has had to pretty much take a bit of a backseat for a bit. I should be getting back on track soon...
But today I wanted to pop in for a quick tidbit of comic book tastiness. It seems the news is starting to break in a few circles so I figured what the hell?!? This is in regards to the newest issue of the Walking Dead...issue #193.
To start off...it’s an oversized issue for the same price. That’s a win in the world of comics right off the bat. The next thing I’m going to tell you is the big news.

One last chance...
Well folks, it looks like this is officially the end of an era. That’s right...Robert Kirkman is wrapping things up in this surprise series finale. Debuting in 2003, this series has now been active for 16 years (hell yeah I can math) and has spawned an empire. Between the merchandising, games, and television shows...this comic is at the core of it.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Robert many times and each and every encounter is a ton of fun. He’s genuinely one of the sweetest guys in the industry and I’m super happy for his tremendous success. It’s been a great run and as a shitty comic shop owner, I’m thankful for the tremendous sales that he’s single handily responsible for. I look forward to seeing what comes next from him.
Look to pick up a copy this Wednesday. I’m guessing they will go quickly at comic shops across the land. In the meantime, enjoy Robert shitting on my shop again.
