This week is a tad different as tons of shops across the land are planning to open for the Midnight Release of Detective Comics #1000!!! Check with your local shop’s social media to see if they are participating or not. Either way, let’s start with DC!!!
DC is going to be the talk of the town this week as Tec #1000 hits. As I’m assuming most stores will, we have all 12 regular covers in. These books carry a hefty $9.99 price tag so completists are in for a hurtin. Batgirl has a pretty variant as does Batman Beyond. Heroes in Crisis, Action Comics, Flash, and The Terriffics are also hitting this week. These companies did not hold back anything which is so thoughtful of them on the release of Tec #1000. Ugh...
Marvel has a new issue of Amazing Spider-Man and spoiler the new villain they have been teasing for almost a year that we know next to nothing about makes another quick cameo. Spider-Man & Deadpool, Darth Vader, X-Force, and Hulkverines all have new issues as well. One to pick up is the faceimilie cover of Hulk #181. Reprints of keys always do well down the road.
Indy book chuck a variety of books our way. There’s a stunning Sabrina the Teenage Witch cover by the master Adam Hughes that I would pick up for the ol’ personal collection. Oblivion Song, WWE Special, Spawn, Power Rangers, Jughead, Adventure Time, Rick & Morty, Maneaters, Invader Zim...shit I can go on forever but I’ll just let you see it all for yourself.

In the random nonsense department, it’s a little lighter than the previous weeks (thank the friggin lord). No statues, mostly figures which helps us out a bit as well. NECA releases a set of Aliens figures based on the video game along with another Pennywise from IT because...why not?!? Mezco chucks a Friday the 13th Jason One-12 At is that is spectacularly killer...no pun intended. 5 Sailor moon pieces, My Hero Academia, and DBZ all hit along with a fantastic glow in the dark Kuchi Kopi from Nobs Burgers. Oh, and a new set of Mario figs...peep this shit below and watch yer jaws drop!!!
