Okay...
Marvel has a pretty nice sized week. Their juggernaut mega events Absolute Carnage & House/Powers of X have basically sold out of every issue thus far. We keep increasing the numbers and the buyers keep on buying.
On top of those, new issues of both Black Cat & Invisivle Woman are in. I cannot attest as to if these series are any good but this week’s issues feature tasty covers by modern masters J Scott Campbell and Adam Hughes respectively.
Tack on titles like Doctor Strange, Venom, Squirrel Girl, Daredevil and more and it’s a fulfilling week.
In DC’s corner, we have one of those dumb weeks where both Batman & Detective Comics are released. I hate those weeks as those books both bring people in. So while it’ll be busy this week, the following will suffer a bit. Thanks DC!
Wonder Woman has a pretty Frison cover. I feel like I’ve typed that a zillion times but her cover run has been nothing short of stellar and in my opinion will join the ranks of great WW cover runs with Hughes and Bolland.
Wonder Twins, Flash, & Young Justice round out a solid week as well.
Indy book time!!! Eh...nothing to rush to the shop for this week. Solid titles like Oblivion Song, Outter Darkness, and Archie are in but Marvel and DC definitely take all the shine away from the smaller presses this week.

Taking a look at the random nonsense...couple really cool things. Godzilla figures always sell well and most are expensive as hell as they are imported. That’s why these little mini fig blind boxes are great!!! Affordable and cool!
Two Batman statues including a beautiful Super Powers piece from Tweeterhead are in. I love the look of the cape. The piece really pops in that grey and blue. Add in a sweet Hulk vs. Wolverine Marvel Legends 2 pack, some Funko Pops, and a pair of Mezco One-12 figures featuring cold blooded murderers in Joker and Punisher...and its a week!!!
