This will be a quick one but kinda funny. Yesterday I partook in a bus trip to Atlantic City for a fund raiser with about 50 other friends and friends of friends. (That’s a lot of friends limped together). Anyway, on the bus trip down there was plenty of drinking and my one friend Chris mentioned that he saw my post about my shop on Facebook. I was not sure what he was talking about exactly as I post about the shop once in a while on my account, but I smiled and nodded...passing it off as no big deal.
A couple of hours later a friend introduced my to her friend and said “he owns the comic shop in town...the one that had the write up about it the other day”. Huh?!? I was confused and I was then told that there was a write up about the shop from one of the radio stations in the area. I was thinking that maybe it wasn’t my shop?!? Maybe they were mistaken?!?
So on to Facebook I went in search of this mysterious article about my own shop that I had no idea about. Certain that they were mistak...nope...there it was. Straight from 92.7 WOBM’s Page...
As I read through the piece it was apparent why I had not seen this. They mention my business partner Pete a couple of times. They must have come in one day when he was in and since he’s a dunce, he never let me know at all that any of this took place.
After talking with Pete this morning and grilling him on why he didn’t tell me, it seems that he kinda just forgot. Awesome. He also said that a guy was just in there shopping and liked the shop so he asked if he could do a little piece on it for the radio site.
So here is the surprise article on our shop that I just found out existed. I wish I would have known as I would have cleaned up a bit...thumbnail photo shows garbage on the floor. Awesome...
