It doesn't matter if it's the Green Hulk or the Gray Hulk because he still manages to put a smile on my face. The recently released Joe Fixit #5 contains a Peter David story that culminates in a big battle for Vegas supremacy. The Kingpin wants to add Las Vegas to his ever-growing territories and to do this he needed to be able to control the Hulk, or Joe Fixit as he is known here. You couldn't ask for a better mob enforcer. However, The Maggia have other ideas about who should control the Vegas strip, with Count Nefaria leading the charge.
Meanwhile, Spider-Man helped Joe Fixit realize that working with Kingpin is a bad idea. Yildiray Cinar and Dee Cunniffe bring the battle among the three sides to life in this issue with their stellar artwork. You have the Rhino protecting Kingpin, while the Masked Marauder, Hydro-Man and Electro all team up against the web-slinger and the gray guy. Mr. Berengetti even has his men stand down while the super powers battle it out.
Electro uses the electrical current powering the strip to rejuvenate his own power and give Joe Fixit a heart attack. Nonetheless, the gray Hulk also has his own healing powers. As the fight winds down, Kingpin does what he always does as he gets outta Dodge! A tired Spider-Man and Mr. Fixit celebrate their win by taking in a Penn and Teller show. This is definitely a fun personality for the Hulk leading to stories that are just as fun!
