Welcome to Gold Goblin #1. Although, Norman Osborn is frustrated with everyone referring to him as a Goblin. When he was the Green Goblin, Osborn didn't mind because he found it to be quite fun creating havoc and wrecking people's lives. However, after his entanglement with Sin-Eater, Mr. Osborn has appeared to turn over a new leaf. Christopher Cantwell's story perfectly exhibits the demons one must face while trying to let go of the past. Ghosts are there to remind Osborn of who he was at every turn!
Peter Parker is even an employee at OSCORP. Not only did Peter need the job, but he can keep an eye on the ex-Green Goblin at the same time. This new Osborn even spent time at the batting cages assisting his grandson with his swing. Every now and then, you could feel Osborn fighting with himself when it comes to saying the right things.
The new Norman Osborn even lures the new Jack O'Lantern into a trap by pretending to be interested in the underground skeleton market. Lan Medina, Antonio Fabela and Joe Sabino take the issue from very bright panels to very creepy ones and then back. Extremely impressive was the way they displayed Osborn's demons. By the end of the issue, you can feel that Osborn got tired of explaining to the public that he is not a Goblin.
