"Daredevil: Woman Without Fear" #2 has just recently hit the comic book stores. Chip Zdarsky has presented an interesting storyline for this alternative Daredevil. Rafael De Latorre (artist), Federico Lee (colors) and VC's Clayton Cowles (letters) present a very realistic visual experience for all of the action contained within the pages of this contemplative issue. The variant cover shown above displays a certain coldness that appears to have taken over our hero.
As we all should know, Matt Murdoch has been using his heightened senses after becoming blind from his exposure to radioactivity for quite some time now. Elektra was a top assassin who had dealings with a group known as "The Hand." Secrets that Elektra kept hidden deep inside of her came between her romantic relationship with Murdoch. She now has taken upon the Daredevil character for herself.
As I probably mentioned in a previous post, Wilson Fisk is targeting all vigilantes, especially the superhero type, since he became Mayor of New York. To assist the NYPD, the former Kingpin has tasked a group of villains known as Thunderbolts. Who better to control crime than super villains? Many enemies from Elektra's past are now on the prowl putting a major target on this fearless woman.
One such villain that knows Elektra very well is Kraven The Hunter. Somebody forgot to tell her that it was hunting season for her! She has even bigger problems in that you just can't cut ties with "The Hand." Aka is watching her every move as she tries to deal with Kraven. However, Kraven has something very powerful on his side. Wilson Fisk! Who representing law and order is the good guy and who is the villain?
