Appetite for Distraction Presents... Second Helpings!
Bonus commentary and educational materials for your enjoyment!
We've reached our 10th episode in the re-release of Appetite for Distraction. Those teens are coming up fast! This is a pivotal episode in the development of the Imp as a character... as it's the first time his love of chicken nuggets is alluded to.
This strip is a reenactment of true events... The mousepad Imp found online when searching to see if the zombie penguin market was cornered is still available for sale. It is by Australian artist James Kite. Sorry for the ribbing James, it's all in good fun, we swear!
Feel free to pick one up for yourself!
Fun facts!
- Moustrak was the first commercial mousepad manufacturer. It gained traction (hahah! Get it? That's what mousepads do!) when Apple branded and distributed it's products to computer stores.
- The world record for a chicken nugget was one that weighed 51 pounds! Of course, a study in The American Journal of Medicine concluded, "Chicken nuggets are mostly fat, and their name is a misnomer." So technically speaking it was a 51 pound fat nugget.
- The logical conclusion of the old adage, "You are what you eat," is that Imp is a fat nugget.
