One of the favorite things about Steemit is that comments under the articles here are decent, polite, supportive, constructive, motivating, they open the possibility of dialogue, they are informative and in good faith.
Of course, there are spam comments like follow for follow, please upvote sir, good post and similar or some fishing for upvotes exaggerated, excessive - suck up style. But at least we have been spared from negativity which we can see almost everywhere on social networks.
This illustration of Steve Cutts describes how tricky anger is on the Internet. A person hanging on the edge of the fear of falling into a monster conceptualizes how we are scared of feedback on the internet. Can you blame us? Negative is everywhere
Cyberbullying through malicious comments and rumors have become a serious issue, particularly anonymous ones they lead to a culture of aggression and mockery that hinders substantive discourse.
Maybe it is because of the fact that money is involved in Steemit we are free of this kind of negativity, but I want to believe that we are a community that will trigger new trends of behavior and that all trolls when seeing us will become good TROLLS!
So, in my opinion, Steemit wins the first round, hope we will win the match against malicious comments and remain TROLL FREE OASIS!
