I still have lots of friends on FB and it's the only reason I haven't deleted it. For as long as there's another option, many people will do whichever is easier and hassle-free for communication and sharing our posts to people outside steemit. For me, a gradual transition and dormancy of FB accts is more acceptable. At least, you have something to use to contact your friends if they don't give you other choices.
