We have an exciting schedule ahead of us and will keep everyone updated on our progress. On Monday, we listed our primary goals and timeline at the end of our launch post and today we want to elaborate on our short-term plans. Here are some benchmarks that we’re shooting for :
August 2017
Onboard a “beta-blogger” team of ~ 15 new Steemit accounts.
These initial members will help us test our strategy and scale onboarding in the months following.
The biggest challenge that we’re trying to overcome is how to introduce new creatives to Steemit so that they can hit the ground running. We’re developing our resources daily. To get feedback while we develop the incubator program, we’ve been testing our resources and process with the beta members. By the end of this month, we aim to have around 15 practitioners and groups in the Sndbox incubator to gather a diverse array of experiences as we support their transition to this website.
These “beta bloggers” will set the precedent of how we can scale onboarding and effective adoption. There are potentially millions of creative professionals, social-media influencers, cultural institutions and freelancers who could be integrating this blockchain technology into their daily work. But venturing into this domain is a risky and daunting move for most. In this initial phase, our team will work closely with our beta’s to accumulate examples and precedents that will aid the onboarding of future Steemians.
September - November 2017
Begin hosting consistent Steemit meetups, presentations, workshops, and a variety of on-site activities to expose content creators to Steemit.
We also want to focus on in-person Steemit promotion, mentioned in yesterday’s post of on-boarding members. Much of our current preparatory work now is how to engage the entirety of the New York City ecosystem - who we can engage, where we can present, how to grow Steemit’s usage in our city, and what to empower the prospective members’ work with. and
will be pursuing lectures, workshops, and other public educational pursuits to get the power of STEEM into the hands of the broader public.

December 2017 +
Launch the first round of Sndbox projects.
An inherent part of Sndbox’s mission is to not only on-board creatives but also to empower them to expand their practices and achieve big things. A larger vision of our recruitment and coaching activities is to bring board and train members who will really contribute to the Steemit community’s dialogue and harness the power of the blockchain for their own work.
As such, we’ll soon be taking on a series of projects with our Sndbox members so that we can take on a more of a project-centric focus in our collaborative work. Much like the way we structured ’s account to maximize momentum and impact for the STEEM Park project, Sndbox will be the incubative ground to grow big ideas into big outcomes.
Let us know what you think and pitch in any ideas you might have!
