Slowly but surely
There are two reason why I had a great Sunday
- I got a chance to see the new Spider-Man movie, which was amazing!
- I finally got one of my friends to sign-up for Steemit
It was actually a smooth process. When I was explaing to him what steem, steempower, and SBD were he just sat there and listened and without understanding much said, "sure sign me up why not"! That was literally the only sentence I've been wanting to hear from my friends and family I've been trying to recruit to this platform during the three months I've been on here.
What took us a long time was actually figuring out a cool name. I warned him of the curse of choosing a bad name like waphilip. Just like posts that are live for over a month, it is permanent. I believe the name he choose way 
Although I was happy about getting my friend on the platform, I know that it's important to continue to spread the word of our amazing community, so we can continue to grow!
