We've all been there. That moment after the fact where you realize that was not the smartest thing you ever did.
This week on the community series, we are going to laugh at ourselves a little. Feel free to share your not so bright idea or action (extra points if it turned out painful).
My Story
When winter comes in Pennsylvania, a favorite pastime of the Sipe family is snow drifting. Thankfully, we have a few empty parking lots that are out of sight from the main road, and don't have any no trespassing signs.
Our vehicles are quite adept for the slide show, and my Quattro drive Audi is the drift king. Unfortunately, pride cometh before the fall.
One particular drifting session, I drove too close to a light pole in the parking lot, and slammed the side of my car into the concrete base. Because of the angle of said crash, the only way to get away from the concrete was to drive beside it while it scraped the side of my car. I was not pleased with myself.
The damages were a dented fender, and bent steering knuckle. $700 later the car was good as new, and we were back drifting two weeks later (it's only money).
