Ever so often I come across people that lick cop boots so hard that it boggles the mind!
with In the cop watching subculture these people are referred to as cop suckers.
After observing police for nearly 6 years now I've come to the conclusion that the vast majority of Americans have a cultural version of Stockholm syndrome............ Or capture-bonding, this is a psychological phenomenon first described in 1973 in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors. info link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome
